School To Work

This program has been designed in partnership with TAFE NSW Riverina Institute to deliver successful work ready and resume workshops to assist students with their transition from school to work.The training allows students to gain a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in Vocational and Community Engagement.

The WIN Program

The WIN Program is a joint venture between Leeton High School and Yanco Agricultural High School targeted at students hoping to leave school at the end of Year 10 or 11 to gain an apprenticeship, traineeship or full time employment.

Group Training Services

GetSet Inc. now offers Group Training and Labour Hire Services. Group Training is an alternative employment arrangement when hiring Apprentices and Trainees. Labour hire assists with the administration and payroll of all casual employees. Employee commitment is with GetSet inc., they are not directly employed by the company to whom they provide labour.

Youth Frontiers Mentoring Program

The NSW Government’s Youth Frontiers mentoring program is an electorate based program that focuses on leadership and civic engagement.

GetSet has been successful in securing a portion of this state wide contract and has offers 10 places in the Riverina Murray Electorate and 10 places in the Wagga electorate.

Young people participating in Youth Frontiers will receive a minimum of 30 hours mentoring, including at least 10 hours of one-on-one mentoring. The program will provide mentees with an opportunity to build life skills and self confidence by working collaboratively with their mentors to undertake a community project that makes a positive difference in their local community

About Us

GetSet is managed by a board of management, which is responsible for overseeing and managing the programs and the staff. The management board consists of a cross-section of school, business and community members. 

GetSet can arrange and deliver a number of programs to schools including Work Ready and Employment Preparation. Interested schools should contact GetSet to discuss option.

The distinction when using Group Training and Labour Hire is that GetSet Group Training and Labour Hire Services has a legislative responsibility to ensure that all legal components of employment are met.

With over 1600 employers on the GetSet database the organisation has access to employers from a huge cross section of industry. More and more employers are now expecting students to be well prepared for their workplace experience.
