2019 WIN Program Congratulations

2019 is rapidly drawing to a close and we take great pride in the accomplishments of the students participating in the WIN Program. Students participating in the program begin their journey with a GetSet led workshop at Leeton TAFE. The students gain a thorough understanding on how to navigate the employment world by learning about what employers look for in a candidate and expect from an employee. They gain two units of accreditation through our partnership with TAFE and leave well prepared to begin an intensive 10 week work experience placement.

We greatly appreciate the time and effort each of our partner businesses willingly invest in the students. Many bright careers begin with a work experience placement as the student has the opportunity to learn in intimate detail the industry they want to pursue a career in. Business in turn were watching very closely over the performance of the student. We are proud to see students make such an impression on their host employer that several received employment opportunities as a direct result of their hard work.

We are very fortunate in that we have the support from the greater Leeton business community.  The support from local businesses isn’t just crucial to running the WIN Program, it’s a fundamental component to the early steps an individual takes toward beginning a career. We would like to ask you join us in thanking the following businesses:

Cummins Leeton, Freedom Foods, SunRice, Hygienic Pipeline Solutions, Newlec, Southern Cotton, Mainroad Mechanical, Leeton veterinary Hospital, Department of Primary Industries, Amato Real Estate, MiVet, Nathan Wood Construction, Lanhams of Leeton, Goodstart Early Learning Centre, Collier & Miller, Leeton Community OpShop, Indulgence, The Hairy Corner, Target Country, Millbrae Quarries, Felix joinery, Leeton Early Learning Centre, Altina Wildlife Park, Pinnacle Accounting Partners, Exclusive Skin and Beauty, Malmet, Leeton District Hospital, Breed & Hutchinson and Hairmasters.
