Everyone has plans for holidays. Unless it’s happening in the next few weeks, it may not be something to discuss at the interview. It is good to reconsider those plans and ask yourself if you’re starting a new job, is it really the best time to take some time off? Consider rescheduling if at all possible. 

If you must take the time off, it would be good to notify the employer.
