Agriculture Trainee – Rankins Springs

 Certificate III In Agriculture

GetSet has a position available for an Agriculture Trainee with our host in Rankins Springs. You will gain experience on knowledge whilst you work towards achieving Certificate III in Agriculture.

We are looking for a passionate junior that enjoys outdoor work and can be trained in using a variety of tractors and other associated harvest equipment.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Tractor work, including ground maintenance
• Assist with various crop management activities
• Spraying including pest and weed control
• Fertilizer application
• Assist with day-to-day farming and cropping operations
• Basic maintenance of farm equipment
• Learning and applying WH&S across your work environment.

The traineeship will run over a 24 month period and a greater opportunity with further employment will be offered once complete.

To be considered for this position you must have a strong desire for farm work with a good understanding of what you may be required to do. You must be willing to work weekends as required during harvest. A driver’s licence is desirable.
