Apprenticeship – Electrotechnology – Electrician Cert III

GetSet has a position available for first year Apprentice Electrician. Our host in Leeton works in all areas of the electrical industry including domestic, commercial, industrial and solar. We are seeking applicants who have the passion for the industry and drive to succeed.

You will be involved in various new wiring and equipment installations, fault finding and rework and other related duties.

You will be committed to a 4-year apprenticeship and required to attend TAFE at the Leeton Campus.

This is a great opportunity to acquire skills in multiple disciplines in the Electrical Industry.

Applicants should possess:

• A genuine interest and passion for position.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with mathematical competence.
• Ideally have completed year 11 or 12.
• Good communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent numerical operation skills including, geometry and calculations,

formulas involving addition, subtraction, multiplication,

division, fractions and decimals, percentages and proportions

The apprenticeship demands high level of skills and knowledge.  Commitment, aptitude and attitude towards study are a high priority when entering an apprenticeship.
