GetSet is looking for a motivated Apprentice Retail Butcher to join our Host Employer in Griffith! If you’re eager to learn, grow your skills, and kickstart a career in the Retail Meat industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Applicants should possess the following:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from the Host Employer and customers
• Willingness to complete required units through Wollongong TAFE (On-Site training)

Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Meat processing
• Cutting and slicing carcasses
• Processing orders for wholesale, retail, and local raffles
• Packaging products to customer specifications
• Complying with policies, procedures, and WHS responsibilities
• Maintaining sanitation and food safety standards
• Preparing seasoned products such as sausages, rissoles, chicken, and beef
• Completing online training modules
