GetSet has multiple positions available for Apprentice Welders in Griffith. Our host in Griffith is fast becoming our employer of choice. You will be coached and mentored by trade experts who produce quality work for local and international clients.

Apprentices will be required to attend TAFE for a set number of days per year, usually one day per week. Once successfully completed and deemed competent in all units you may be given the opportunity to complete your apprenticeship early and become a qualified trades person at the end of your third year.

This is a great opportunity to work and be trained within a diverse organisation and become highly skilled in a sought-after trade.

Ideal candidates will:

• Be physically fit
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent numerical operation skills including calculations; formulas involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals, percentages and proportions
• Have the willingness and dedication to learn and complete an apprenticeship in a busy environment
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
