GetSet has a position available for an Apprentice Welder. Our client is a specialist organization within a developing industry operating in Leeton and the surrounding areas.

As an apprentice over the next 4 years, you will work in an area of specialised fabrication of stainless steel products in the food and beverage industry as well as industrial environments. You will learn to fabricate and install hygienic and sanitary pipelines and develop skills in mild steel and carbon steel as well as press fit pipeline systems. Skills acquired from this position will also include erecting of scaffolding and safety equipment.

Ideal candidates will:

• Be physically fit
• Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Have excellent numerical operation skills including calculations; formulas involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals, percentages and proportions
• Have the willingness and dedication to learn and complete an apprenticeship in a busy environment
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
