NSW Apprentice Rego Rebates

NSW 1st and 2nd year apprentices can claim a rebate of $100 after paying their rego. 

An apprentice getting started in a trade faces many expenses and the state of New South Wales wants to make things a little easier. If you are in your first or second year of your apprenticeship you can apply for a $100 rebate on your rego if your vehicle is registered in NSW, in the name of the eligible apprentice, be due for renewal and paid after becoming an eligible apprentice, and registered for general private or general business use.

How to apply

If you are eligible and after your vehicle rego has been renewed you will need to download and fill out this form. Next, visit a service centre and submit your application in person or you can mail it to:
