GetSet are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our host employer in Griffith. This is a full time opportunity suited to someone who thrives in a hands on environment and is committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by accurately handling stock, supporting logistics, and maintaining high safety standards. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Manager and broader team to meet customer and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and dispatch goods in line with picking slips, reporting any discrepancies promptly
Maintain strong attention to detail across all orders and warehouse procedures
Assist with warehouse improvement initiatives
Check incoming stock and ensure proper stock rotation
Coordinate with Inventory and Logistics teams regarding stock levels and deliveries
Ensure materials and consumables are well-stocked and accessible
Participate in stocktakes as required
Maintain a professional and cooperative approach with all team members
Follow all company procedures, including safety and behavioural standards
Report risks, hazards, or operational issues to the Warehouse Manager
Perform additional duties as reasonably required
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and emergency plans
Follow Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
Conduct daily pre-start checks on equipment such as forklifts and trucks
Safely operate vehicles and machinery in line with regulations
Report hazards, incidents, or breaches immediately
Disclose any injuries or limitations that may affect work duties
About You
Essential Requirements:
Current Forklift Licence
Physically fit with good coordination and manual handling ability
Strong communication and organisational skills
Basic to moderate computer skills
High level of safety awareness
Desirable:
Previous warehouse experience
Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence
