GetSet is seeking an experienced Qualified Fitter to join our highly respected host employer in Griffith, a leader in the Engineering and Metal Fabrication industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified professional to join a skilled team that produces high-quality work for a range of local and international clients. You will work in a diverse and fast-paced workshop environment, carrying out mechanical fitting tasks, maintenance, repairs, and precision work with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
• Conduct measurements, alignments, and adjustments with accuracy
• Work collaboratively with tradespeople and apprentices
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and operational standards

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Are fully qualified in Fitting and Machining
• Have strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a workshop environment
• Are confident interpreting drawings, measurements, and technical information
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively and work well within a team
• Are reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in producing high-quality work
