GetSet are seeking a dedicated Quality Administrator to join our Host employer in Leeton. This role plays a key part in maintaining high quality standards, supporting laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. You will contribute to a positive team culture and help drive continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day to day laboratory operations, including physical, chemical, and microbial testing
Record and report on raw materials, in-process product, finished product, and environmental monitoring
Perform daily maintenance, calibration, and servicing of laboratory instruments
Report on Quality Lead Indicators at team meetings
Conduct internal audits, GMP and hygiene inspections
Identify and report trends for non-conformance investigations
Maintain and drive improvements in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain cost-effective and sustainable operations
Manage pre-requisite activities required by HACCP
Provide technical support to manufacturing and other site departments
Assist in new product development
Handle customer requests for technical information, including accreditation documentation, specifications, and export compliance documentation
Conduct annual mock recalls with the recall/withdrawal team
Conduct annual Business Continuity Plan tests with the Business Continuity Team
Review training records in collaboration with Department Managers
Requirements:
Contribute to team culture and engagement plans, displaying behaviours consistent with company values
Follow all GMP, Food Safety & HACCP requirements
Abide by all site procedures and policies
Understand and follow requirements of third-party certifications, e.g., Halal, Kosher, FSSC 22000
Essential Criteria:
Experience in microbiological testing
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Proficient laboratory practices with high accuracy
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to engage with all levels of the business, from leadership to operators
Proactive and takes ownership of tasks
Strong action orientation to deliver accurate outcomes within tight timelines
Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
