GetSet is currently seeking a highly motivated and career driven person who has a genuine interest in becoming an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice in Griffith.

As an apprentice Refrigeration and Air Conditioning mechanic you will learn to install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment that apply to food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air distribution equipment in buildings and premises.  You will work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Air conditioning and Refrigeration through attending TAFE on a regular basis.

Applicants should have:

• A good attitude towards work and a willingness to learn

• Good communication and written skills

• Good problem-solving skills
• A current driver’s licence and WHS White card
• Excellent numerical operation skills including, geometry and calculations, formulas involving addition, subtraction, multiplication

Applicants must be willing to:

• Work locally and out of town
• Work long hours in summer months
• Attend training as required (Wagga Wagga Tafe)
• Work as a team member and autonomously
